What Causes Tenderness And Gas In The Belly?

feeling weird
i am a 24 yr old female, i weight 158 lbs and presently aren't on any medications. i've been experiencing some tenderness in the lower part of my belly for the past 72hrs, alot of gas & nausia . today i vomited frm the smell of ouions & had a weird mucus drip in my throat when i awoke this morning. my period isn't due to arrive until the third of next month. i have a normal 28 day cycle. and i was wondering could this be the flu? if not should i go to the ER or is these symtoms possibly something else? How should i handle this? The symtom are becoming annoying and just a little worst everyday.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that this could be a intestinal infection and the chances of protozoa is likely if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following medicine 1) Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days 2) Tab Dicyclomine three times in day 3) Tab Chlordiazepoxide three times in day, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
