What Causes Teeth Grinding And Difficulty In Breathing?

I have been having difficulty breathing, with a feeling like I can t take a deep breath and difficulty to complete a yawn, my chest feels like it s not expanding enough for me to get a full breath of air, and my back hurts in my thoracic spine. I was diagnosed with panic disorder/ anxiety and was Rx d Paxil 20mg. I began to have teeth chattering and did not feel right. My MD switched me to 100mg Zoloft and the teeth chattering has continued, as has the shortness of breath, which does not always change with physical exertion. He did not do chest X-ray, and my blood results, thyroid and EKG were normal. MD seems to think the teeth chattering is the result of increased anxiety, and not the medications, but I disagree as I haven t seen improvement in any of my symptoms. What might be causing this?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Your physician did those tests which he felt necessary for your condition and he got his answer. You do have anxiety disorder and in every possibility, if you obsess with a symptom (in this case teeth chattering) it is bound to disturb you.

Ask yourself some questions? Have your doctor experienced your teeth chattering? Did any of your friends or family members experienced your teeth chattering? Are you the only person experiencing your teeth chattering?

If the answer to the first two questions are NO, and for the third one YES, then you are experiencing obsession. Otherwise, please consult another physician.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
