What Causes Tearing/crackling Sound In Ear While Moving Jaw?

Hi my names Nik. I have had an ongoing problem for as long as I can remember it is a rip/tearing/crackling sound in my left ear which happens every time I slightly move my jaw. I have attempted cleaning the ear with tea tree and cotton buds which help the sound slightly but it is still permanent. I have experienced labyrynthitis in the past and common ear infections hoping the noise would go after it cleared but it remains. Could it be pressure? Broken ear bones? Wisdom teeth touching something? Please help Thanks for your time it s very much appreciated

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The clicking sound could be because of the disc displacement in the Temporomandibular joint or secondary to bruxism or trauma to the joint. It is not related to ear infection.
Consult a oral physician and get it evaluated, you need to take radiograph to check the status of the bone. Mean while You can take anti inflammatory drugs like piroxicam. You can also take muscle relaxants like chlorzoxazone. Do not eat hard things, do not open your mouth too wide. take soft diet. Give rest to the joint.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
