What Causes Symptoms Of Vertigo And Nausea?

Hi,I am experiencing the feeling of vertigo and somewhat nauseous lately. This has been ongoing for quite a few weeks now. It is much worse if I lean forward or to the side. The doctor I visited said crystallisation of the ear canals but I feel that it may be more neck related. Is this possible. I have also had someone say that it might be a good idea to get MS or a tumour ruled out.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Of course nausea and vertigo can be ear related. In this case betahistine is recommended.

You should also examine your cervical spine for spondyloarthrosis which can cause the nausea and vomiting also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
