Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I just recently found out I am pregnant, about 9 weeks. Just yesterday I noticed I have a scalloped tongue- nothing severe and no soreness, but prominent ridges on the edges from my teeth. I don't have any other symptoms, in fact I'm not even tired or nauseated so far. Could my minor tongue swelling have something to do with increased hormone changes from pregnancy? Should I be more concerned? I tried to research this a little on my own and found concerns with issues with the thyroid???
