What Causes Swollen Tongue After Taking Lisinopril And Prolia?
I am having a side effect of a swollen tongue for a few months now my doctor took me off lisinopril and it helped a little she put me on a smaller dose but it still is bothersome. I also saw on tv today that said prolia has that side effect also since april was put on apriso 4 capsules. My question is how do i find out which medicine is causing my problem. Thank you in advance.
As per your complain swollen tongue is commonly seen as a side effect or allergic reaction to both Prolia [Denosumb] and Lisinopril. To find out which medication is causing the problem, you should consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like Allergic test can help in diagnosis..Once the causative medication is ruled out then switching to a different medication can help in resolving the swelling..As of now you can take anti allergics to reduce swelling but only after consulting a local physician.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
