What Causes Swollen, Sore And Sensitive Penis?

Yesterday poured undiluted savlon on my penis for cleaning 3-4 times. it was red, swollen, painful and burning for the whole night. I took an antibiotic and anti-alergic in the morning and went to sleep. Before I went to sleep I had washed it many times with cold water. Now there's almost no pain and burning but the foreskin is badly swollen and is sore and sensitive. Is this anything serious?

Thanks for query.

You have developed swelling of the foreskin due to allergic reaction to Savlon,

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin to prevent along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical steroid cream Cartisol cream twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Do not worry your problem will get resolved within a week.
