What Causes Swollen Red Labia Majora?

Two days ago, I ve noticed that my labia majora was swollen and red and I think there is a small sized bump on the inside. It does itch at times and hurts when there is pressure applied and there is also a foul smell. I did sleep with someone without protection but he said he was clean. What could it be?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bacterial vaginosis and associated yeast infection. You should better get a local examination with a gynecologist and a swab to rule out the condition. In such case i advise antibiotics with combination of metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or oral tablet. Using intimate wash regularly also will be helpful to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent from getting further infections. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
