General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It appears that you have developed a nail infection known as paronychia. I t may require a small incision and drainage of the pus followed by antibiotics. It will heal with a week time. I will advise you to visit a surgeon for the same.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
