What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Under The Armpits?

I m a 29 year old female. About a month ago I had two swollen lymphnoids, one in each armpit. The lymphnoid in my left armpit stayed for a week but the other one grew larger and was tender. I noticed a tight and sore vein coming from underneath the lymphnoid and continued to feel like so going down my arm to where the arm bends. It took 3 weeks for the lymph to go away. But my vein is still very tight and sore. I ve never notice this before. It even hurts when I stretch my arm out. What could be the problem?

Hi,
From history it seems that due to having acute lymphadenitis in axilla giving rise infection in venous system called thrombophlebitis.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5-7 days.
Apply Thrombophob cream on the swollen veins.
Ok and take care.
