What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Chest?

I had lots of clots that went to my lungs ended up having a heart attack they discovered I had 4 swollen lymph nodes two high up on my chest two lowed down on my body they haven t changed in size in a year so they done biopsy that came back reactive does this mean that it can turn to cancer they will continue to do ct scans every 6 months

Hi,

Reactive lymph node is not cancerous node. You are not having cancer according to biopsy report. Biopsy can considered gold standard to exclude malignancy if biopsy taken properly. If lymph nodes enlargement persist than its advisable to do CT scan screen to watch it.
