What Causes Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck?

My left lymph node is swollen it’s hurts to swallow. And on the left side of my mouth towards the roof it’s a dark red mark that’s painful. I thought it was from my singing and rigorous rehearsals but I noticed it’s more painful than yesterday

Dear patient
swollen lymph node on the left side of neck is due to inflammation inside your mouth. Redness on the buccal mucosa may be early sign of ulcer. Since lymph node contains infection in the concerned area it may be swollen. there is nothing to worry. As the redness inside mouth decreases lymph node swelling will regress slowly.
