What Causes Swollen Libia Minora?

Swollen libia minora, not itchy just swollen a little red and painful. Not STD because I have never done anything with anyone down there . It just showed up what could this be and are there any common at home creams that could help? I d rather not get specialized cream because it is kind of embarrassing to go to a pharmacy for this.
