General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
In my opinion you should take rest and completely immobilize your knee and avoid bending of your knee. Apply ice to your knee and use acetaminophen to relieve pain. Do wear knee brace all the time.
You should see an orthopedic surgeon and you need to get an X ray as well as MRI to rule out soft tissue injury.
Stay safe and get well soon
