What Causes Swollen & Itchy Clit?

I am a 24 year old female. My clit started itching so I scratched it a few times. After taking a bath I noticed to the left of my clit to be red and swollen. It is swollen to a ball the size of the end of my pinky finger. Any idea as to why it would swell to a ball shape?

Hello,

It could be due to vaginitis caused by fungal infections. Take antifungal medicine for the same.
