What Causes Swollen Gums In Children?

My 3 yr old son has been whingy and very irritable for the last few days, today I noticed swollen gums and 2 white blisters inside his lip, also a red spot on the corner of his mouth. he is complaining of being tired and his breath is really bad....thanks

The type of symptoms you are mentioning that the gums of your son are swollen with blisters, it can be symptoms of viral ulcers as they first appear as blisters with swollen gums. and even the child must be having some fever because of which he is feeling irritable.
You should visit a good pedodontist (child dentist) to get symptomatic relief and even for some topical ointments which will help the ulcers to heal.
