What Causes Swollen Glands With Discharge Of Saliva And Stomach Pain?
I was awaken last night with the glands at the back of my mouth just pouring saliva, which I swollowed to keep from choking. This lasted several minutes and was accompanied with severe stomach painand nausea. This was about 4:00 a.m. and by 5:30 I was so sick to my stomach that I threw up. This happened once before in November....What could be causing this?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history. It looks that you had nausea and vomiting. The excessive salivation is always secondary to a feeling of vomiting. This in turn is usually due to upset of the stomach. The pain in abdomen with nausea, salivation, and vomiting has to be investigated. I would advise you the following: Get an enteroclysis and upper GI endoscopy along with an ultrasonography and CT scan of the abdomen. Proper investigations can help you to get the proper diagnosis and further management .
