ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

This could be salivary gland inflammation.
I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Analgesics like tablet ibuprofen for pain relief.
3) Warm compressions over the swelling.
4) Adequate hydration: drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

You will be fine.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help you. You can upload a clinical image of the swelling for more accurate diagnosis.

Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr.Paparaja S. MBBS, MS
