What Causes Swollen Feet With High Blood Pressure?

Hello my name is Fee. I have high blood pressure and have ran out of medication. My feet are swollen and I was wondering if there is anything I can do for the swelling. I take Benicar HCT 20/12.5 and HTCZ 25 mg. I am unemployed and have been for a year. I have no insurance so, I can t go to the doctor. What do you suggest?

Hi. Swollen feet with a history of hypertension should not be taken lightly. It could mean a heart or a kidney problem. You need to check your blood and urine and get an ECG done. Take care.
