What Causes Swollen Eyes With Itching And Crusty Discharge?
Hi, Starting right before Christmas...my right eye was very watery, and itching, had like a crusty discharge only in the morning, I used allergy eye drops, the itching stopped, but then the next day my eye swelled almost shut!, I went to the ER...they said probably a plant allergy of some kind, looked into my eyes, as I told them it felt like a foreign object was in there....they used ultra violet light...said looked fine....gave me antibiotic eye drops, & allergy drops said use for 5 days....I did that....seemed to get better....I used for more than 5 days as wasnt all the way better...then it was for about 4 days....started back to itching and feeling like something in there.....went back, said sinus infection....(eye swelled shut again) ....put me on Oral antibiotic....has been 5 days....still taking....but eyes still watery.....not swollen shut buy puffy....still itching...any ideas?

It seems from the history that you are having swollen and itchy eyes associated with discharge. This indicates allergy with secondary bacterial infection.
Since it is not responding to use of antibiotics and anti allergic medications the infection seems to be virulent and may require antibiotics depending in the sensitivity report. At the same time this requires evaluation to find out the neighbouring source of infections like sinusitis which are causing recurrent infections.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
