Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Swollen Eyelids Along With Itchy Neck And Face?
over a week now i have woken up with swollen eye lids and itchy neck and face. Its not every morning. I am using the same soap, detergent, lotion, makeup and facewash but i have moved into a new home. could it be the carpet or air vents? thank you for your help
This sounds like an allergic reaction. Since you wake up having the symptoms it can be from the pillow. However, determining the cause of the allergy is not easy, and it could be from anything since you moved a new house. I recommend that you visit a dermatologist and perform an allergy skin prick test.
Also, you need to go systematically to determine what causes this allergy. If you feel shortness of breath you need to go to the ER, as an allergic reaction could be life threatening if it leads to shortness of breath.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
