General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This sounds like an allergic reaction. Since you wake up having the symptoms it can be from the pillow. However, determining the cause of the allergy is not easy, and it could be from anything since you moved a new house. I recommend that you visit a dermatologist and perform an allergy skin prick test.

Also, you need to go systematically to determine what causes this allergy. If you feel shortness of breath you need to go to the ER, as an allergic reaction could be life threatening if it leads to shortness of breath.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
