Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just noticed my outer left ankleall around the ankle bone is swollen - no injury but very swollen. , no pain. I am 54 not over weight - very fit. I only noticed due to a slight tightening feeling that came and went which caused me to take a look. Huge difference.
This can be due to the weakness of the muscles and lack of venous return. Doing ankle toe movements and ankle stability exercises will help avoid such swelling.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
