What Causes Swollen And Tender Clitoris With Hardness Under The Skin?

Just this morning I woke up to a swollen, tender clitorus. It feels hard underneath the skin, but it is not like a bump or cyst. It is not very red, but it s irritable when I m just sitting without any underwear and loose cotton sweatpants. May I add that a couple weeks ago the outside (not my clitorus) of my vagina felt sore--almost bruised like for about a day and then it would go away. I also encountered burning while I used the restroom, but these both went away after a day. I do not have any STIs/STDs and this just started a few weeks ago. I have never had a yeast infection or UTI or anything wrong with my lower region. Could it possibly be a yeast infection with swelling and inflammation? If so, should I consider Monistat s 7 day treatment to see if it clears or is this more serious? Or could this be a UTI that can be cured with antibiotics? Once again, I have swelling of my clitorus, burning during urination, very tender clitorus, but NO itchiness, discharge, or anything bothering the opening of my vagina. --Thanks
