General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and I recommend you to make some treatment with anti-inflammatory pills and vitamins, aply cold compresses ( no ice ) 30 minutes 3 or 4 times/day and keep your leg elevated, no necessarily your body is rejecting the hardware, you may be developing an acute lymphangitis or other local inflammatory process if in few days you are not improve your condition you need go to the doctor for an evaluation and antibiotic treatment. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
