What Causes Swollen And Itchy Bums Around The Anus After Treatment Of Yeast Infection?

I m 5 3 , 112 pounds, 17 years old and female. I m fairly athletic and consider myself generally healthy. Just a couple weeks ago I had what I thought (and what my mother who is a nurse thought) was a yeast infection. I used the Monostat cream as directed on the package and it seemed to get better. (itching and smell went away, discharge went back to normal). Just about a week after or so, I noticed my anal region had become itchy. It had become itchy towards the end of the yeast infection too, but it went away when i used the cream. Now, after a few days of having this problem, I shaved the hair from around the anus and many swollen bumps appeared. The bumps are not fluid filled and mostly normal skin colored aside from being somewhat red and irritated. The skin is dry and flaking and does not hurt when touched, but only after much walking. A new development that has reoccurred since having the yeast infection is that after I took a shower today, the labia minora are raw and sore. I have a hunch it could be the soap I using when i shower because it is slightly irritating and drying anyways. I m not sure what this is but its becoming a strong annoyance. I am sexually active, but have only had one partner. He has not had any signs of stds and his previous (and only other partner) was checked for stds and came back with negative results/no stds. My partner and i have been sexually active for 6 months and together exclusively for just over a year and this has only popped up within the last 2 weeks. Could it be an std? Or is it something less scary and common? A side effect of the yeast infection cream? Please help, thank you.

Your condition may be a mixed infection , where treament for Yeast alone may not be enough you would need antibiotics also or else you need oral anti-fungals also to clear the infection.Else we may be dealing with something completely different among several Ano-Rectal problems. A Dermatological/Gynaecological Opinion would be in order.
Two very important factors that need to be addressed are:-
1) Are you keeping the area dry(sweating, if you are prone to it, makes it worse).
2) Please rule out Diabetes with all three Fasting, Post-Prandial Blood Sugars,Glycosylated Hb( HbA1C).
