What Causes Swollen And Bruised Veins?

Out of nowhere today the one of my main veins inside of my wrist going to the palm of my hand has swollen and is now bruised. My wrist and hand hurts real bad. Can t bend my wrist backwards and my fingers feel like blood is rushing into them. Why is this and what should I do? Do I need doctor care?

You must have suffered from minor trauma from which you are unaware like handling some thing with force, even vigorous hand shake.It is just bruising of a vein.It will disappear with the passage of time. Avoid trauma.
