What Causes Swelling On The Face While On Levothyroxine?

I take levothyroxine for my thyroid, I just wanted to let you know that. Lately my face has been a little swollen and I don t know why. Is there anything that can cause this? My diet has been the same, I haven t been anywhere. In your opinion, what could cause this, and what are some solutions? My email is YYYY@YYYY

Hello

swelling over face may be due to hypothyriodism or allergic reaction. As you are known case of hypothyroidism under treatment, i think the dose may be low and has to correct. Kindly do TSH and consult with physician. If it is normal, then may be due to allergy. You may require detailed examination an dtreatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
