What Causes Swelling Of Toes After Eating Crab?

My husband has type 2 diabetius and heart and blood pressure issues. He loves eating crab legs, tonight he had numbness in his toes. He had several crab legs for dinner. I m concerned about the sodium in crab legs and other shell fish including shrimp. Thank you for any info

Hello. It would be good to use it sparingly anyway since you have noticed such a strong correlation. What is his uric acid level? What anti hypertensive medication is he on? regards
