Hello- I have a sensation in my throat (middle of the chest ) that feels like my esophagus is swollen or has a pill stuck in it.The problem also happened in one day, just appeared...not so bad in the morning, but later in the day it is somewhat noticeable. Has been present for 4 days now.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A swelling and a lump like feeling in the middle of chest could be due to herniation or outpouching of the esophageal mucosa.
This outpouching can be of two types- Zenker's pouch or pharyngeal pouch.
These two pouches are formed at different levels of the esophagus.
These pouches cause lump like feeling and regurgitation of food products.
You need to get a X0ray chest and barium studies to assess the site and type of lesion.
Further management will depend on the result of the test.

Thanks and take care
