What Causes Swelling Of Stomach?

Hi just a little worried I ve had 3 children in the last 3 years so maybe this is why my stomach is the way it is but Im a small build but suddenly my stomach has started swelling like I m about 5/6 months pregnant ive done many test which are all negative also I ve had 3 periods in the last around 6 weeks and also have had 3 lumps on the inside on the pubic bone which my Gp says are due to shaving but I ve shaved for many years and never had anything like it the lumps swelled to the size of golf balls and was so painful they ozzed with browny red puss even tho they have gone dwn and puss no longer comes out they remain a small purple mass I don t no if any of the 3 things are linked but I m getting rather worried

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The fact that the lumps grew and then oozed a combination of pus and blood itself proves that they were in fact caused by either shaving, friction, waxing, etc. Continue to apply warm compresses to the region and try taking sitz baths with epsom salt.

As for the abdominal bloating and irregular menstrual cycle, this could be a hormonal imbalance that may have resulted from soon approaching meopause, some underlying condition (e.g. polycystic ovarian syndrome), medications, stress, birth control, infections, etc.

A menstrual irregularity may also result from a recent pregnancy, but it soon regularizes. You have experienced three childbirths in the past 3 years which may have not provided your menstrual cycle time to regularize. Wait for a while and see if things return to normal, if they don't then report to your doctor for help.
