What Causes Swelling Of Lymph Node Below The Ear Lobe?

Hi! I am 21 years old male student. 2 weeks ago i noticed slightly swollen lymph node beneath my ear lobe . i felt slightly sick and i went to the doctor . Doctor gave me antibiotics and i had sore throat to in the throat wall which resulted severe pain while swallowing. the fever was below 100 not much. I went to another doctor and he said it s viral pharyngitis but also told to continue the anti-biotic in case if it is strep. Within a week my sore throat gone , lymph node came back to normal. And again my doctor checked my throat and he said it s fine. The next suddenly my left tonsil got slightly bigger (not that much big). I don t feel any pain while eating neither it s sore. But the left tonsil is swollen i think. I have taken the antibiotics but the tonsil is not coming back to normal and i am too much worried. I also feel dry throat and have to drink a lot of water. I am really worried about it and recently i have developed hypochondria and anxiety by searching the symptom all day in internet. Please help me and give me some suggestion

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have tonsillitis, abscess or other lesion on tonsil. It leads tp reactive hyperplasia of lymphnode also. You should go for examination. If needed take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin or amoxiclav. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
