What Causes Swelling Of Eyelid And Red Scaly Patches?
I don t have allergies and don t wear eye makeup and I haven t used anything new yet a few days ago my left eyelid began to swell then felt like it had rough skin on it. It s still quite swollen today and in looking under Sun light it has red scaly patches on it. It s getting hard to see out of due to it being so swollen.

Yes of course this could be allergic condition only and this can be well managed with "Diphenhydramine lotion" apply this twice in day and avoid going in the sun, if there is watering from the eye then this could be conjunctivitis and to rule out this clinical examination, hope this information helps, take care.
