What Causes Swelling Near The Pubic Area?

I am a 62-year old woman. I have some weight in my stomach (but I am not obese/132 lbs.). The area under my c-section scar (pubic area) seems kind of puffy or swollen. I haven t looked down there recently, so maybe that s just what it looks like now (lol). Does this sound like a problem?

Hello,

Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them, cannot say in your particular case, but generally, no, sagging with being 62 affects anyone.

You've already said you are neither gaining nor losing weight which might be a significant symptom and it is implied to be OUTSIDE of the abdomen that the swelling is.

People almost always know if there is a big abscess or infection. So not much serious there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
