Yes, it is appearing like allergic reaction only causing Allergic Angioedema and can be any food or medicine while application of skin cosmetics or other things like detergents or exposure to poison ivy can be the cause.. You can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl for reducing swelling.. Continue doing cool compresses to reduce swelling.. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the allergen faster.. If you get repeated problem of swollen lips then you can get an allergic test done to rule out the exact cause so that treatment can be done accordingly.. Hope this helps.. Regards.
