What Causes Swelling In The Testicles?

I have swelling of the genital sack that holds the testacies including above the testacies, more on the right side than the left. It is to the point that the penis disappears into the sack. I am 81 yeas old. Is this just a function of age or could there be a tumor or growth of some time. I feel no pane.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Painless swelling of the testicle needs evaluation.
It could be caused due to collection of fluid around the sac called 'hydrocele' or due to presence of tumors.
Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for clinical examination and evaluation. You may require an ultrasound scan of scrotum to know what could be the cause for it and to confirm the diagnosis.
Accordingly, appropriate treatment could be administered.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
