What Causes Swelling In The Right Inner Elbow Despite Taking Neuflo?

Hi Gd Morning Doctor, I have a slight swollen on my right inner elbow and the doc prescribe me NEUFLO 90MG tablet to be taken 1 tablet 3 times daily with food. After a week if the swollen don t heal he will refer me to hospital specialist.Thank you YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

Good Morning, noted your history of slight swelling on inner side of right elbow, Doctor prescribed Neuflo 90, suggested reference if the swelling does not subside within a week.
The commonest cause of such a swelling near elbow indicates the following:
Synovial thickening due to arthritis.
Accumulation of fluid locally.
Surely you can use the medicine as your Doctor must have thought about the best possible medicine at the moment.
Continue the medicine.
Give rest to the elbow by putting the forearm on a sling.
You can also try steroid on prescription for early recovery if the cause is inflammation.
