Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today I had a sudden swelling of veins in my left wrist and pain. The pain went away rather quickly but the swelling is still very much present and ya 38 year old female. Should I be concerned? I have also recently been told that my white blood cell count was very high.

What Causes Swelling In The Left Wrist?
Hi, It could be an inflammatory lesion. Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done. As of now, analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase can be taken for symptomatic relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
