What Causes Swelling In The Left Wrist?

Today I had a sudden swelling of veins in my left wrist and pain. The pain went away rather quickly but the swelling is still very much present and ya 38 year old female. Should I be concerned? I have also recently been told that my white blood cell count was very high.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be an inflammatory lesion.

Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done.

As of now, analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase can be taken for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
