Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had two strokes and have been very lucky. One stroke affected my right side. I had weakness on the right side of my body. Over a year ago, I had a Tia, that affected, again, my right side. I m ok but I haven t gotten my strength back on my right side. Do swollen feet have anything to do with my heart?
generally for swollen feet there are many reasons...among them the first thing is to rule out kidney problem for which you have to do Renal function test... then any medication using for blood pressure like amlodipine for that change medicine or using any painkillers for that you have to stop and then no reason simply agerelated called dependant oedema for which you have to keep your legs in elevated position while sitting or sleeping or due to sedentary life.
