Work involves walking or standing on concrete for up to 10 hours daily some time on stress mats ( but I also add a layer of cardboard to mine which really minimizes the discomfort). I have been diagnosed as ANA positive. My PCP sent me to a Rheumatologist to check for Lupus. He said he was ruling it out since I didn t have mouth sores...but I have a cracked lip that hasn t healed for 4 months, no matter what I use. I have severe swelling in my hands & feet & severe nerve pain in all 4, too! I keep a sinus infection year round. Every morning when I wake up & start walking about...I break out in a sweat that feels like a fever type sweat. This is NOT at all like my Hot Flashes that I ve experienced with menopause. They linger a lot longer. If I walk for very long, such as grocery shopping, I get severe pain in my buttocks that run down my legs & sometimes to my toes. Then I can t stand to sit down when this happens. They just keep me on Tramadol & Flexeril, Which I can t take at work...so I stay in pain all day long. I want a med to help my situation to where I can function. Help?

I have been having pain in my foot for about a week now. I got new shoes at the beginning of the month and seem to have been fine. The pain is at the top of my foot moving down towards my toes. Every once in a while I can just be standing or walking but it will shoot pain up my leg. I have not any had any recent injuries. I was in the military over 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with bone spurs and plantar fasciitis. I have not have any problems for a long while now.
