I was in the sun for 4 hours yesterday and both of my hands and arms got burnt pretty bad. Today my hands are swollen about twice their size and it is not wanting to go down. I took ibuprofen for the swelling and pain. Can you be allergic to the sun.
In Medicine there is a term called photosensitivity and yes sunburn can cause inflammation and result swelling of exposed parts of body especially with severe and prolonged periods and after long time. The best thing will be to have less time and increase frequency of sun exposure
