What Causes Swelling In The Ankles And Leg?

I had a hot bath which was really to hot, and since getting out of it I ve noticed my leg/ankle is swollen and very sore to touch. My veins are really showing and I m worried it could be DVT. What could be wrong with my leg as my symptoms when searched doesn t really help.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptom you present may be caused by DVT.It is a medical condition that should be handled in a specialized unit.Other conditions that could give you that presentation like soft tissue infections on the leg are less likely given your description .I will suggest you get to the Doctor for evaluation. The opinion of a Cardiologist will be very important here. You need medical attention immediately as DVT is a life-threatening condition.I prefer this diagnosis be eliminated by an expert than to wait. You may reach the emergency unit on phone for an ambulance and a medical personnel to accompany you.
Hope my answer will help you
Wish you a speedy recovery
