What Causes Swelling In Fingers In Case Of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome?

hello, I have carpal tunnel in both arms, have had nerve conduction studies, left side 90% blocked,right arm 80%, I notice when I am at work, I take bloods for a living, that my fingers are swelling during my shift, can carpal tunnel cause this, I have not had treatment yet, my finger selling subsides when I am not at work, also the skin on my left arm gets red and blotchy, any ideas, thankyou
