What Causes Swelling Around Eyes?

The skin around both eyes are very swollen, red, itchy and flaky skin. From my eyelids up to brows and under eyes are very swollen and red down to my cheeks. The skin peels off like I ve had a sun burn. It s embarrassing ! My eyes are fine. No redness, itching,or discharge. It s all around both eyes. I have changed make up, cleaned & sanitized make-up brushes & eye curler. Ive done everything I can think of & nothing has worked......... I had the same thing happen exactly 20 years ago. Then I changed mascara & it worked. This time it didn t work. Please help me. I don t know what to do. Thank you. Crystal

HI
Well come to HCM
This could be allergic condition, and this can be treated with "Diphenhydramine lotion" this for local application, oral medication can be tried and the best medicine would be "Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg three times in day, if this does not improved then better to get done clinical examination, because skin disease always demands clinical observation, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
