What Causes Swelling Around Eye After An Injury?

Hi,

I met with an accident about 4 weeks ago, resulting in a deep cut on my forehead. The doctor in ER stitched my forehead just above the right eyebrow. The whole of the left side of my face was swollen. Now the swelling reduced but there is still some swelling around my right eye. Is this a concern, will this swelling gradually reduce and go off with time? I have been taking lysozyme and papase for swelling (prescribed by doctor). And I am unable to lift my right eyebrow.
