What Causes Swelling And Tingling Sensation In The Right Ankle?

I am a diabetic,on pills, no insulin A1c 7.1. My right ankle is very swollen. Right foot is pins and needles for quite a few months now. Left foot just started pins and needles in last few days. Having gout attacks in right foot big toe and first toe since last Sunday. Yesterday gout started in knuckle of left big toe. 4 weeks ago had surgery to remove screw in right heel and to release nerve in upper right calf. Indomethicin keeps gout pain down. Also have asthma, HPB, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and anxiety attacks. Any idea what is going on with the feet?
