What Causes Swelling And Tingling On The Arms And Fingers?

I had rotator cuff surgery 4 months ago. the tear was result of a fall. I am having swelling down the arm with tingling in my last two fingers. I am having lots of pain from behind my ear down around my shoulder blade, and around under my arm up to the front of my shoulder. My Dr. does not think there is a relation between the surgery and what is going on. Please help.

Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes, of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases. In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.
