What Causes Swelling And Redness On The Vagina After Intercourse?

Hi, I m a 19 year old female. The last two or so weeks I ve noticed some blood when wiping. I m very sexually active (one partner) and I noticed some swelling and redness for a couple days after intercourse last weekend. In general, intercourse has been really uncomfortable because it feels like there are tears at the lower part of the vaginal opening. Today the blood was a little heavier, so I took a mirror to check it out and there are multiple small cuts on my perineum. I ve never had children or a problem with these lacerations before. There really hasn t been a change in discharge.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to the vaginal infection like bacterial vaginosis or due to rough sex.
Vaginal examination, vaginal swab test and urine tests will help in the diagnosis.
Doctor will give following advises:
Single dose treatment of azithromycin + fluconazole + tinidazole
Vaginal suppository of clingen and lactobacilli
Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Use K-Y based lubrication during the sex
Wear pure cotton loose inners
Drink plenty of water and take healthy diet
