What Causes Swelling And Pain On Temple After An Injury?

Hi I accidentally was wrestling with my boyfriend and I hit the right side of my temple on the edge of the table and it bled a little. It s a bit inflamed and very sore. It feels weird to chew or open my mouth wide. What should I do? Should I be worried?

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, I think you are experiencing the trauma symptoms, although you hit your temple is normal to have a mouth discomfort for a few days ( that occurs by nerves irradiation ) you can use in the trauma area some cold compresses 20 minutes 3 times a day and some OTC anti-inflammatory cream. I hope that my advice has been helpful
