What Causes Swelling And Pain In Thumb?
My thumb is twice as big as it should be, my nail and parts of my thumb are purple, it is totally useless and hurts like a bitch and when I move my wrist I feel like screaming in pain. Do you think I have a fractured thumb? And should I visit my doctor?

I think you should see a doctor. It is not a fracture if you did not have a trauma. It might be an infection of the nail bed or tendonitis that needs further treatment.
