What Causes Swelling And Pain In Love Handles After Eating?

I recently started noticeing that my love handles swell really bad after I eat. When this happens it also causes sharp pains right above my stomache. I take laxitives regularly as I am on oxycodone and oxycotin for severe back pain. What can I do to get this to stop? I have also been gaining weight slowly over the last couple of months.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history Of pain in love handlers after taking food as well as there is swelling.

Also noted that you are taking oxycodone for low back ache and have to take laxatives to counter the actions.
This history indicates that the laxative is most probably of irritant in nature and this causing some sort of colitis which gets enhanced with food as a reflex mechanism.
This in turn causes pain in love handlers are.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Change over to another laxative which does not have irritant action and get the bachache investigated by an opinion of an Orthopedic surgeon and MRI of the painful area to get more specific diagnosis and treatment.
Get the stool, urine and blood tests as well as ultrasound of abdomen.and clinical evaluation for the pain in abdomen to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
